I mean, come on, you wouldn’t be on a website for a random Cat Oven Mitt unless you’re 1) a ‘must-have-everything-cat’ cat lover (my family fits this description, btw) or 2) a Super Fan of Seinfeld (as my family is). So, I can be pretty sure you’re one of the two which means you’re in great company here.My name is Jason and my family lives in Utah. It gets really cold here and I think the snow messed with my head a little. I started selling Oven Mitts. Years ago my wife noticed this cute and colorful cat oven mitt hanging from Jerry Seinfeld’s refrigerator on MANY episodes. Well, once it was pointed out, we couldn’t help but spot the thing all the time! Then it became a mission to find and buy one. But, how do you find a random Seinfeld prop that’s over 20 years old?
After a lot of hunting around I found a foreign distributer willing to sell to me one. I gave it to my wife for Christmas and she was not only very surprised that I found it, but EXCITED to put it on the fridge! I eventually realized other Seinfeld fans were looking for the same oven mitt prop – so I decided to help out. I mean, how cool is it to have one of these on your own refrigerator? For a Seinfeld geek like me, it’s pretty awesome. We are positive this Oven Mitt is a great gift idea for any Seinfeld Superfan.
